BECAUSE I AM A CHRISTIAN
WRITTEN
BY JOY EKPO
Because
I am a Christian, I'm wise enough to live my life distant from sin, knowing
that light and darkness are on two opposite spectrums. I've grown mature, Too
mature to live by pretense Because I know the truth And the truth is that being
a Christian is not a matter of the lip but evident in fruits.
Because
I am a Christian, It is fool hardy to stay arrogant. To be fed with pride and
be drunk of insolence. My name is tolerance. I will not fight in public, I will
correct in private, And show love with kindness.
Yes because I'm a Christian, Unforgiveness has
become a threat to my DNA. I do not have a place for hatred, strives or enmity.
You can't be my problem, and I refuse to see you as trouble. Because the joy of
the lord bubbles in my heart. It will be heart attack to nurse malice, gossips
or unfriendliness.
Yes
I am a Christian And I have no regret to that decision. Even when all I
encounter is persecution, Jesus is my inspiration. I will stand up for the
gospel, and never will I get tired of being a disciple.
Because
I am a Christian Am proudly a Christian And not a religious self-righteous
church seater, Who will shield under the canopy of hypocrisy while fighting for
office and positions.
Because I am a Christian |
No...
I am a Christian Mindless of what the world thinks of my honesty. I will be
open-minded, truthful and not fearful. My contentment is in the Bible. The
parables and miracles of my salvation. It oils my spirit with the lubricant of
holiness.
Because
I am a Christian I am a believer.
