THE VOW
WRITTEN BY JOY EKPO
A
must read "Yes I do".
The
very interesting reply that ushered beautiful Rosemary into her life tailspin,
as she blindly got conjoined to Sylvester Beast, It was barely three months
after the wedding, but seemed more like tracking from single hood to servitude.
For
Rose, matrimony was just a living death. Her life got shattered the very day
Sylvester inserted that thorny ring into her fingers. Like an academic
calendar, every semester of the marriage was edited with colourful battery and
hot embarrassment.
"I
don't deserve this mess", she sobs, soliloquizing with flooded eyes and
dripping nose one early morning. Divorce began to swell up in her mind. Marriage
was becoming bittersweet.

Then
suddenly she picks up a black note book from the couch, it was her dairy.
Inside it was boldly written “FUTURE HUSBAND” an expensive rundown of her
expected spouse . O poor Rose! Materialism had so occupied her priority.
Exactly
what becomes the case of our young people today. Instead of seeking for God's
direction before taking your decisions. You set standards, high standards.
Going after beauty, wealth and charisma while neglecting the divine matters.
Listen
my dear, it's very OK to set standards, at least it makes you feel a little
classic. But believe me darling without the face of God, that life partner is
as good as a life taker.
